主讲人简介：

Bruce E. Logan教授是美国国家工程院(NAE)院士，中国工程院(CAE)外籍院士，美国科学促进会(AAAS)、国际水协会(IWA)、水环境联合会(WEF)和环境工程与科学教授协会(AEESP)会士，担任了美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学能源与环境研究所所长、土木与环境工程系Stan&Flora Kapp教授以及清华大学、哈尔滨工业大学客座教授。Logan教授近年来致力于生物电化学系统、可再生能源生产、能源可持续性水基础设施发展相关的科研，以及能源、碳排放和气候相关的教学工作。他在《Nature》《Science》《Nature Reviews Microbiology》《PNAS》等国际顶尖杂志发表了550多篇论文 (引用超过115000次，h指数＝164; google scholar)。

Brief Introduction of Professor Bruce Logan

Dr. Bruce E. Logan is a member of the US National Academy of Engineering (NAE), an international member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), and a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the International Water Association (IWA), the Water Environment Federation (WEF), and the Association of Environmental Engineering & Science Professors (AEESP). Logan is Director of the Institute of Energy and the Environment, and the Stan and Flora Kappe Professor of Environmental Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Penn State University. What’s more, he is a guest professor at several universities including Tsinghua University and Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). He has published more than 550 papers (>115,000 citations, h-index=164; Google scholar) in leading international journals such as Nature, Science, Nature Reviews Microbiology, and PNAS. Etc.
